Seven Wonderful Years!

December 27th was our seven year anniversary, and so being I thought I would take a few moments to write about the amazing woman I have as a wife and also let Kalisa know just how much she means to me.  Anyone who knows Kalisa can't help but love her; she's funny, drop-dead gorgeous, always smiling, easy-going, always looking for the best in everyone and so much fun to be around.  As most of you know we just completed the schooling/education portion of our marriage and my amazing wife and best friend managed to have three beautiful kids in three and a half years with me being a full-time student for most of the time.  I'm sure there were many times Kalisa felt like a single mom, but she never complained and was always understanding when I needed to study.  She is so awesome with our kids.  She never gets frazzled with our children, full of patience, love and always putting them before herself.  Kalisa has to be one of the most selfless people I know - always putting others before herself.  She makes me happier than anything in this world.  I feel so incredibly privileged and so very blessed to have you as my wife and best friend.  I couldn't imagine my life without you.  I'm so thankful for all you've done, do and will do for me. You're the best.  Looking back on the past seven years I still can't figure out why I was the one to get such an incredible wife.  I can't wait for the next seven years, I know that they will be great because we'll be together.  Happy Anniversary to the best wife any guy could wish for and to my best friend.  I love you with all my heart and I always will - Ed

Daxton 9 months old

Little Dax is already nine months old.  He is such a little sweetheart!  He just started saying MaMa.  I love it!!!  He hasn't said DaDa yet and I think Ed is a little jealous.  He weighs 18lbs. 6oz. and already has five teeth.  He is waving and clapping his hands.  What a little bundle of joy!

Going Private

Hello Everybody,

Like so many others, we are also going private.  If you want to be added to view our blog, leave your email address.   You do have to have a google account.

Go Team Grandview!!!

Me and some of my friends did a 5K this weekend.  Krystal, Rozannah, and I call ourselves Team Grandview because we have been training together and we all live on Grandview Ave.  It has been so much fun jogging with these guys.  We are training to do an 8K on Thanksgiving morning called the Turkey Trot.  I guess it is a huge event in Buffalo.  Almost 8,000 people jogged it last year.  We just decided to do the 5K for practice and for fun.  Really we just wanted to do the race for the long sleeved t-shirt we got.  I think we did really good, considering it rained the entire time, we were sopping wet and cold.  We don't have our exact time yet, but according to Ed's stop watch we did it in 24 min. and 10 sec.  I figured that is about a 7 min. 46 sec. mile.

Apple picking

Dyson with one of his several girlfriends Annie.

We went apple picking this last weekend and it was an adventure.  First, we got lost on the way there, which I am not sure how, since I have driven there two different times with no problem.  Luckily this nice lady showed us the way.  Then we finally got there and locked our keys in the car.  So we called a lock smith and it was going to cost us $120 plus tax to get them out.  Can you believe that?  Luckily my great friend Angela called and said she was just leaving her house to come apple picking.  So she stopped by our house and a bunch of friends from the ward worked together to break into our house and get our keys.  Thanks guys!  Well, after all that we ended up having a great time and the kids had a blast!

Dxton is getting so big!

Daxton is getting so big.  I can't believe he is already 7 1/2 months old.  He is still the happiest little guy and so sweet.  He has grown so much in the past couple of months.  He is starting to scoot a little on his bum to get what he wants.

Dyson started preschool

Dyson started preschool a few weeks ago and is loving it.  We are a little worried because all he talks about is girls in his class... never boys.  He is in love with the shyest girl in his class,
Emma.  He told me the other day that Emma told his teach that she loves Dyson and Dyson loves her.  I asked him if this was true and he said Yes!

Savannah is loving being home with me.  She gets all of my attention while Dyson is at school and Daxton is napping.  She likes practicing and recognizing her ABC's, I think mostly  because she knows that as soon as she is done she gets some chocolate chips (whatever works, right?).

Back visiting Utah

Me, my mom, and some of my sisters at the fair.
The kids had a blast riding rides at the fair with their cousins. The kids with their Lish cousins in the sheep barn.

The day after Bear Lake. You can tell we got a little too much sun.

I had to throw this picture in because this picture was taken on the day that Daxton turned 6 months old. I just never got around to posting and he is such a cute little boy. He has chuncked up a bit since this picture was taken.
