Christmas 2009

We spent Christmas this year in Utah.  We had a lot of fun spending time with family.
Having little kids makes Christmas so much fun!  It is so fun seeing how excited they get.

Dax was hilarious when he got this four wheeler on Christmas morning.  He
hopped right on and took off and ran over my sister-in-law.  It was pretty funny!
Savannah loved her doll she got from Santa.  She named her Daxy (i guess after her brother).
We tried getting her to name her something else that sounds a little more like a girl,
but she insisted with Daxy.
Dyson got mostly sports stuff this year since he is such a sports nut.  But
his favorite gift he got was a creepy crawler maker from his grandma.

Happy Halloween!!!

Our little sports nut decided he wanted to be a Minnesota Viking this year.
He has been wearing his costume everyday since he got it.
Savannah was something different for every activity we went to.  She was three
different things this Halloween a Ballerina Fairy, Ariel, and Cinderella.
Thank goodness for dress-up!
Daxton got the hand me down costume, but it totally fits his personality.
He was our wild and crazy Spiderman.  He was hilariously Trick-or-Treating!
He would get to the door, drop his bucket, and run up to the person handing
out candy and say "Treat, treat" over and over until he got a candy in his hand.

Update

Well, it has been awhile since my last post and a lot has happened (sorry about the picture overload).  Dyson and Savannah have both started Preschool, we have had some fun getting together with family and friends, and we FINALLY closed on our house.
Dyson's first day of Preschool.

Savannah's first day of Preschool.
Having fun with cousins!

My sister, Kim, and her kids recently came to visit us and we had fun making and decorating Halloween cookies, apple picking, going to a pumpkin patch, and just letting the kids play.  It was so fun having them here!  We wish we lived closer.  Dyson cried when they left.

Our Trip to Utah!

Ed had a couple weeks of vacation so we headed down to Utah for some fun!
We started off by having a birthday party for Dyson with his grandparents and cousins.
Dyson, Savannah, and even Daxton had fun helping make this basketball pinata.

Then we headed up to Bear Lake and spent a few days up there with our friends the Bridges.           We had a blast!

We made a quick trip down to the Oquirrh Mountian Temple open house with Ed's family.  It was beautiful and fun for the kids.
And then we went camping/boating at Twin Lakes.  We hadn't been camping for a long time and the kids had so much fun.  They loved sleeping in the tent, and surprisingly they slept well.
Even I got out of the boat!  (It has been awhile)

Daxton loved all the dirt and rocks.

Ed and the kids caught a lot of bluegill.

Happy Birthday Dyson!!!

Happy Birthday Dyson!  We love you so much and are so grateful to have such a good boy.
You are such a blessing in our lives.  Right now basketball is your favorite thing to do.  You are always begging Dad to play with you.
I can't believe Dyson is already 5 years old.  Ed and I were getting a little teary eyed when we looked back at pictures from the last five years and how much Dyson has grown up,  from Salt Lake to Buffalo and now here.  It is amazing how fast the last five years have gone by.  It has been enjoyable!
